Biographical Sketch:
Kathryn Aikin, Ph.D., is a Senior Social Science Analyst and the Research Team Lead in the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP). Dr. Aikin’s research has focused on topics related to promotion of prescription drugs, including consumer perceptions of direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising, disease awareness ads, corrective advertising, marketing claims, and improvements to the consumer brief summary in DTC print ads.
