Biographical Sketch:
(deceased; taken from Roger's obituary with modifications) Dr. Millsap was the author of “Statistical Approaches to Measurement Invariance" and co-editor of the “Sage Handbook of Quantitative Methods in Psychology”. He received numerous awards including the Cattell Award (1993) for early career contributions in multivariate experimental psychology, the Tanaka Award (1995, 1999, and 2005) for most outstanding contribution in journaling Multivariate Behavioral Research, and the Herb Eber Award (2001) for outstanding service to the Society for Multivariate Experimental Psychology. Dr. Millsap served as President of the Society for Multivariate Experimental Psychology in 2001, President of the American Psychological Association, Division 5 (Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics) in 2004, President of the Psychometric Society from 2006-2007, Editor for the Multivariate Behavioral Research from 1996-2006 and Editor of Psychometrika from 2007 to the present.
