Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Landsittel is a professor of medicine, biostatistics and clinical and translational science for the University of Pittsburgh, and teaches several courses on comparative effectiveness research (CER) and design and analysis of biomarker studies in the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE). He also serves as the CER Track Director for the ICRE and as the Director of Biostatistics for the Starzl Transplant Institute. He has published over 85 peer-reviewed papers and is the PI of a contract from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (with Dr. Chang and Dr. Sally Morton as co-investigators) entitled ‘Modeling Strategies for CER: what works best when?’
