Biographical Sketch: I graduated in medicine from the University of Leicester, UK in 2007. Over the last two years I have taken a break from clinical medicine to complete a PhD in Epidemiology and Health Economics funded through my Population Health Scientist Fellowship from the Medical Research Council. I completed a masters in Health Economics at York University, UK, in 2012, during which time I collaborated with the Institute of Technology Assessment in Boston, MA. My current epidemiological work combines population database data with information gained from clinical research. I am based in the Division of Epidemiology and Public Health in Nottingham University, UK with a placement at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 2015 to complete further health economic evaluation.
