Biographical Sketch: Angie Fagerlin, PhD, trained as a cognitive psychologist and is currently a Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan where she Co-Directs the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine. She is also a research scientist at the VA Ann Arbor Center for Clinical Management Research. Her research focuses on testing risk communication strategies and on the development and testing of decision aids. She has published well over 100 articles and has been funded by NIH, NCI, NSF, the VA, PCORI and the European Union.
