Biographical Sketch:
Viengneesee (Vee) Thao is currently a PhD student at the University of Minnesota, Division of Health Policy and Management. She received her B.S. in Languages and Cultures of Asia from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her M.S. in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Vee has conducted research on the variation in cost of blood and marrow transplantation (BMT) across U.S. hospitals, workforce challenges experienced by clinical social workers among BMT hospital programs, and the financial impact/out-of-pocket cost of BMT for patients and families.
