Biographical Sketch: M.G.M. Weernink graduated in 2012 from the master Health Science at the University of Twente. In her thesis she used best worst scaling (BWS) and discrete choice experiments (DCEs) to assess the preferences of chronic kidney disease patients regarding a (home) kidney function test.
After her graduation, she started her PhD (Oct. 2012) at the department of Health Technology and Services Research at the University of Twente. Her research will mainly focus on the elicitation of patient preferences in Parkinson’s Disease using Best-Worst Scaling.
