Biographical Sketch:
Miguel Oliveira is a researcher at Centre of Social Studies of the University of Coimbra and member of Studies on Democracy, Multicultural Citizenship and Participation Research Group. Teacher from 1993 to 2005, and Assistant Professor from 2005 to 2012 at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra (FPCE-UC). PhD in Cognitive Psychology in FPCE-UC. Granted with Gulbenkian's Scholarships at Geneve (Archives Jean Piaget) and Berlin (Max Planck Institute for Human Development) and FCT's Doctoral Scholarship at Berlin (Max Planck Institute for Human Development). Divides his research interests between Decision-Making, Experimental Psychology, Applied Psychology (Consumer, Finance, and Health), and Epistemology.
