Biographical Sketch:
Jui-Chen Yang, MEM, is an independent research economist under contract with DCRI. She as 12 years of experience in applied economic research and stated-preference studies. With respect to health economics, she has served as project manager on discrete-choice experiments to investigate patients' and physicians' treatment preferences in several therapeutic areas. She has experience in survey development, experimental design, data analysis, and report writing. She also has experience in conducting socioeconomic evaluations of health, environmental, and resource programs and policies for various federal government agencies, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and World Bank. She has worked on studies in Vietnam, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Ms. Yang has published her work in various medical journals, Health Economics, Bulletin of the World Health Organization, Journal of Water and Health, Water Resources Research, and other journals.
