Biographical Sketch: Elliot Arsoniadis, MD, is a general surgery resident in the Department of Surgery, as well as a PhD candidate in Health Informatics at the Institute for Health Informatics at the University of Minnesota. His clinical interests are in surgical oncology, specifically related to colon and rectal cancer. He also is interested in health care disparities, especially in surgical care in the US. His interest in Health informatics is in clinical applications of informatics interventions, especially clinical decision support tools as they relate to improved decision-making strategies by both clinicians and patients alike.
