Biographical Sketch:
Dr Huiqin Yang has ten years’ research experience in health services research. She has undertaken a range of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) projects for the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) HTA Programme, including multiple and single therapeutic technology appraisals, diagnostic imaging technology and prognostic technology assessments in several clinical areas. These areas include advanced breast cancer, osteoporosis, scoliosis, psoriasis, obesity and psoriatic arthritis. She has also published a number of original papers that contribute to the methodological development of medical decision making research. She is an Associate Editor for BMC Health Services Research. She is a member of the Cochrane Bias Methods Group, the Cochrane Prognosis Methods Group and the European Society for Medical Decision Making.
