Biographical Sketch: Dr. Sora Park Tanjasiri is Professor of Health Science at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), and is one of only a few scholars to have conducted participatory research with PI communities on the continental U.S. She is a behavioral scientist who has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator on over a dozen CBPR studies of prevention (tobacco use and nutrition) and early detection (for breast and cervical cancers) among Chamorros, Samoans, and Tongans as well as other AAPIs in California, including the 5-year WINCART study. Investigator (Sablan-Santos), and serving as the primary link to the NCI.
